Good to see you get two trips to the Spoons involved.....
Caught between a rock and a hard place. A contribution to Tim Martin or HMRC with tax return looming. A dedication to serious drinking has to prevail. Never been overly comfortable with Christmas do's. For most, possibly a case of grin and bear it and let the alphas dominate proceedings and woe betide anyone who tries to chip in out of turn.

Why don't you knock it off with them negative waves? Why don't you dig how beautiful it is out here? Why don't you say something righteous and hopeful for a change? Crap!

Using Xmas always seems a bit lazy to me.
And looking at the series of match day threads started without due care and attention to proper format this season, coupled with our current league position would indicate that some livening up of performance is required.
Merry Xmas.

We had ours a couple of weeks back. Team generally get along so it wasn't a chore plus the venue is a 10 minute walk from my house. Bonus.
Company were really generous. Still got £200 behind the bar/restaurant for a mini-Round 2 in January.

Bunch of scrooges and old gits.
Took our lot to the Four Pillars last Saturday.
Had some food, got lashed, threw some very bad shapes on the dancefloor and stumbled into bed at 3am.
Job done.

Due to last year's organiser leaving no one bothered this year. Shame as they usually throw up some good stories. Usually literally.

Last year a fella got so smashed he collapsed in his bedroom and 'debris' was deposited from three different exits. .. poor fucker had to cough up £200 for the map of Africa he left on the bed!
This year was quiet....

Going out on the lash with teachers...nah i'm alrite thanks. Most of them are miserable fuckers anyway. They organised a 'do' in the hall, and then asked if people would help tidy up even before the thing had started.

I remember a Christmas party a few years ago, one of the ladies going off with a random fellow and returning a short time later with a rather disgusting stain on her coat. The aforementioned stain was not mayonnaise

My manager studied Japanese and lived there for a while. He keeps banging on about it. This year he took us on an origami beginners lesson. The benefits were two-fold.
