We are presently 40/1 to win the league, only Oldham Bury and Port Vale are worse odds. Pox are 14/1 Brizzle Rovers 16/1.

I thought they offered the whole squad contract extensions? Funny way to trim it imo. I see Bodin signed for another 2 years

Rory Fallon aside, they did. I was surprised to read that Tom Parkes joined Orient this afternoon. Either way Rovers won't be spending the sort of money that Town want for Ajose just yet.

I don't think we can argue with Ajose's (potential) exit. He obviously wants to 'make it' at the highest level possible and that's fair enough as far as I'm concerned and that applies to any Town player as long as they conduct themselves well during that transition. Football careers are fleeting and all that.

The notion of 'long term' in dying in L1 and L2 and you only have to look at the retained lists to see that. It's about building a squad for a season and hoping that it results in promotion. Then starting all over and hoping the six new signings compliment the players that have stayed on the books.

Bookies don't seem to know football that well. What odds were we last year? What odds were Burton? Pinch of salt.

Ajose to Charlton, 800k. Fee agreed. BBC Wilts.

Vigouroux to sign permanently too. 400k.

Shame he's in the same division but he's got more chance of promotion there.

Fingers crossed that we see a bidding war.

So we have spent 400k of the 800k in a goalkeeper.. will we spend another 400k on a striker?

Nice to see we are spending money on players, not sure I would have spent 400k on a keeper mind.
Dissapointing ajose looks like hes off to a club in same division

I think we all saw Ajose leaving, to Charlton wasn't overly expected though..

That's 2 games next season he's nailed on to score in..

Well it is isn't it. Ignore the instability and he'll get a far better contract and a much better chance of going up, but will still be the main man.

It's the perfect move for him. If he went to the Championship, he wouldn't start and he's failed there before.

Shame he is going but we all new he was going to go. Need to find a goal scorer now.

800k is that good business for someone that cost us nothing ?
