Mine was a Nokia 1610 that my old man gave to me. I was the envy of my friends at the time. But did it have Snake on it?

Interesting that a Turk knew some Armenian , as the Ottomans cleansed about 1.5 mill Christians around the time of WW1. The Turks still won't put their hands up for this....I guess they see it as a bit like we won't pay reparations for slavery.
But you're right...old Nokias are the way forward.
My knowledge of genocide in general was quite poor at the time I have to admit Reg, but you're right, it is odd looking back. Just a bit of a polyglot more than likely. No Motorola timeports? That's saaad, you ought to upgrade.. I remember my friend borrowing a 3310 from someone and pretending it was hers to impress me once. Think after that the Nokia 3510i was the first phone I remember succinctly having and really showing off. Fantastic piece of kit.

It's always worth having a working knowledge of ethnic cleansing/genocide. Most peoples will have a few skeletons in the cupboard.... I had some of those mid 90's Motorola, Phillips bricks, but decided I preferred red phone boxes which stunk of piss....

Yes, there's a lot of bad feelings between neighbouring countries because of past horrors. Former Yugoslavia and the current Ukrainian crisis come to mind.

They'll be friends soon enough. On Cyprus anyway, inching closer, inching closer.

Jimmy Carr used to do one called the writers room which was good except that ridiculous laugh. Like a seal in its vinegar strokes. Weird.

Haha, agreed. There's definitely an element of watching too much David Brent with some of them.

My first "mobile" phone, a Mitsubishi MT4 transportable from 1990. Very well made and I kept it for quite a few years even after the handhelds became a more reasonable size, on the floor in front of the driver's seat in the car. Great signal too.

So from this "I have an older phone than you" twat face wank mobile, that we have a massive lack of TEF members under the age of about 27?
No wonder it's dying on its arse.
