No surprise there really How many strikers do they need anyway? They signed two in the week

That is assuming RW is actively pursuing WG. Also Assuming Salford are after him too. WG has to agree to go out on loan in the first place, he can choose to battle for his place, even if the manager states publicly or privately to the player you are not in my plans. Of course Grigg would be an asset to us but for the kind of money he’s on and the contributions we’ll likely need to pay wouldn’t we be better upping our offer to Bradford?

Exactly and at some point isn’t someone going to start to look at their finances? Edit. Also as quaint as their ground is, they’d have to move or end up like Bournemouth should they progress up the league pyramid.

Re. Salford. Further more they are 9 point behind Nam in 7th place and would need to score 23 goal without conceding to just get into the play offs.
Another edit sorry. With 18 to play A) Cambs, PV, St. Evenage, Macc, Exeter, Scunny, Town, L’Orient, Nam
H) Oldham, Creepies, Plym, Col U, Bradford, Stags, Taffies, Carlisle, Eric. PO attainable but they have to rely on hard points and not GD.

That they have rich benefactors which in leagues 1 and 2 can allow them to spend what they want and how they want. As long as the utd boys keep putting money in they can keep riding along. Its if they stopped being the issue. It would be terrible publicity for the likes of beckham however so I dont think they would let them rot like Bury. but they must have some kind of plan regarding sustainability with stadium and attendances etc (you would think)

Indeed. So as long as the money into the club falls within the rules there is nothing anyone outside their club can do. We just have to hope we can get out of this shit league playing decent football. Then hope the class of ‘92 don’t follow us.

He's reportably on the same sort of money, but at least we know what we're getting with him. Still think he'll be back.
