Is there anywhere in Swindon town centre you can park for free, during work hours?

Think you will find it is a residents parking zone around there.

Definitely not Shrivenham Road. You have to live there to park there and walk into town (unless you're Arriba).

Shrivenham Road. You have to get there early though as every other bugger seems to park there and walk into town

A lot of people park around the dunsford close area just the other side of kings hill and just walk down the old canal path. About 5 minutes brisk walk.

Isn't the CG car park free on weekdays?

No, but it is much cheaper than parking in town, 5 minute walk.

Good old Swindon Borough Council. Peculiar reference to "Dammas Lane" in that link. Dammas Lane is in Old Town, near to The Square.
