If we get near the playoffs games will be thrown to ensure we stay in div 2

No, then I take it? Just yet another throw-away conspiracy theory with nothing to back it up

Good stuff.
On a selfish (or in the case of Fylde Shellfish) level Fylde, Salford or Harrogate would do nicely.
Fylde v Harrogate tonight... a new ground to visit would provide a tiny smidge of excitement, for the hardcore in anticipation of next season....

I'm no expert RE: Fylde vs. Harrogate but given the stakes, perhaps I'd have expected a better turnout?

The population of Wesham, is 3,245.... makes Nailsworth's 5,794 look like a metropolis

The attendance last night is given as 1560. Their home average for the season was 1650. So, yes, a bit strange.

I work next door to the stadium. Kirkham and Wesham combined (as they are basically one and the same) are smaller than Calne. Add to the fact you've got Bloomfield Road 15 minutes in one direction and Deepdale 20 minutes the other way, and the club's always going to struggle for support. Not to mention the fact loads of people round here support Liverpool, which will have affected the gate. Cracking facility though for such a small club.

So Wrexham gone.... a good thing, been there a few times and we always lose. Got to be new ground for WB, I'll take any of the other 3 over Salford, going to be them though

Calne's population is nearly 20,000 now. It was half that in the early 1980's.

We have actually won there 5 times and lost 10 times, so not as bad a bogey team as Cheltenumb!

I've just been unlucky... further on a visit in the 00's, I offered to march with them on an anti owner protest, to be told not wanted, so they can fuck off.

Each visit to there though has been followed by being chased by the mass hordes of angry home fans who have little sense of humour it seems.
