picking up colds and all sorts else from my nipper, which he gets at nursery. They're breeding grounds for germs! Feels like I've had a cold since Christmas, and currently enjoying the spoils of a d+v bug. bleurgh.

I get the whole LVG thing is over sensitive but when did blackface stop being offensive? :|

It's an interesting point, especially when put in the context of the recent Operation Black Vote campaign:
http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/politics/generalelection/operation-black-vote-homelands-david-harewood-and-sol-campbell-turn-skin-white-to-encourage-minority-voters-10179979.html

Whilst they've gone for 'taking the colour out' rather than 'whiting-up' it's clearly comparable with blackface at least in a visual sense, but obviously with fewer historical issues.

Nurseries and schools are the petri dish of life's little nasties. As are soft play centres.

Hand gel is your friend but the more illnesses they get the stronger their immunity its just a painful process.

Extremely trivial; but when the printer runs out of paper and someone re-fills it with half a pack of paper.

There's a reason that packs contain 500 sheets and so do printer trays.

In my experience printers and copiers seem more prone to getting mangled up when the tray is stuffed full.....it might just be my perception based on nothing, but I always underfill.

Talking of printers - 'Can I have a toner for my black and white printer please...'

I might be being thick, but what do monochrome laser printers use if not black toner?

Did you mean white toner then? It doesn't make sense.
