picking up colds and all sorts else from my nipper, which he gets at nursery. They're breeding grounds for germs! Feels like I've had a cold since Christmas, and currently enjoying the spoils of a d+v bug. bleurgh.

Nurseries and schools are the petri dish of life's little nasties. As are soft play centres. Hand gel is your friend but the more illnesses they get the stronger their immunity its just a painful process.

Extremely trivial; but when the printer runs out of paper and someone re-fills it with half a pack of paper.
There's a reason that packs contain 500 sheets and so do printer trays.

In my experience printers and copiers seem more prone to getting mangled up when the tray is stuffed full.....it might just be my perception based on nothing, but I always underfill.

I might be being thick, but what do monochrome laser printers use if not black toner?

Did you mean white toner then? It doesn't make sense.
