Isn't there the option of (an) Everton at home as part of the Lucas deal. I'm sure PK let it slip at the Lou Macari evening.

Its 3 games I think, he said if fans want to go it will cost a lot of money!!

Think I can probably get to Salzburg for about 100 Euro on the train or if I drive. Anyone fancies a holiday to Luxembourg is welcome to come along with me!

Eh??  You can't just switch off like that Larwood, it's not good for your system.

Firstly you have to enjoy the glory, we've gone up!!!

Secondly you have to slowly decrease the intake of football, by watching the play offs, cup final and european finals, lower the dosage through out May.

Then and only then can you put footie to the back of your mind, for about a week or so, then we'll sign someone, the fixtures then come out and way hey it's pre-season.

2007/08 is just around the corner.

There are the benchmarks of close season once the final play off game is done.  You have that awful spell when everyone is on holiday - perhaps take one yourself to fill the void; then alas the fixture list comes out-  means you can plan the seasons activites - meeting mates who live near away matches etc; July 1st when the transfer window opens and you then put the rumour mill into overdrive getting excited about how many clubs trevor benjamin can play for in pre-season friendlies; by mid july ther pre-season friendlies come around and you get to see the new players and are generally underwhelmed by them all; and finally August - dread, expectation and usually pointless optimism - the season starts.

Oh that and watching cricket too.

Wasn't there an agreement for a pre-season agsainst Leeds as well as part of the wise deal - but I think PS has said no to that as he don't want to play teams in the same league.

I think I heard somewhere that there will be only 1 home pre-season game

Maybe we can have inter-border cup, us, Brizzles, Pox & C'nam...imagine that
