dave jones everytime.
yeah ok, oxford would have a few sex offender chants back at us but he is a different gravy to the rest of them.

he's proven as one of those managers who can get teams promoted, funnily enough what we want.

sacking king and then employing someone like reeves would be like starting from scratch and completely pointless.

i genuinely think king is a good manager why else does he get somuch praise from people like sam allardyce et al. im not saying i want him to stay because i think he's had his go but it would be a tough act to follow, and like reg said on another thread, sacking managers is often absolutely disastrous for clubs so for this reason i think we'd really have to be looking at appointing a high class manager to, coining a much used phrase these days, "move forward"

Got to be Colin Calderwood, done pretty well at Northampton and it'll really unite the fans again.

Even looking at that list?

You must be fucking joking now Ben. Clearly you haven't been for a while.

Dave Jones for me although I'd take a punt on Calderwood, McAllister, Big Lou or Colin Lee.

With the right manager I'm sure a similar job to what Sturrock has done for Wendy galvanise the players, bring  a few of the fans back and maybe have a crack at the playoffs.

On the upside if we do get rid of King I suppose we could renew our rivalry with oxford down in league 2. :|

If we could get someone of the calibre of Jones it would be good, but having been in the Prem and probably getting bonuses from getting Wolves up then a severance pay, he's probably not too inclined to come and work for the money we pay.

Maybe if he's been out of the game for a while and nobody serious comes knocking, he might be interested.....but its not the least bit likely.

yeah, saw him on GOS this morning and he seemed like he just wanted to get back in the game "i didnt need to recharge my batteries, i just want to manage again" he'll probably take over at a championship side in no time.

I was gonna vote for Gary McAllister but I still haven't forgiven the twat for missing the penalty against the scum in 96.  And for that matter I haven't forgiven the kiddy fiddlers mate Uri Geller, fucking prick, what have the Scots ever done to him, trying to make the ball move.
Anyway because of all of the above I've decided to vote for the legend CC.  He would be the ideal choice for the role.  All depends on whether we could pay off Northampton.

I'd have to go for Calderwood, for the same reasons as Sonic.

I don;t think he's done that well at Orient really.  Barry Hearn's given him a good set up and some money but he's not done anything his predecesors couldn't do.

Why wasn't Martin Ling on that list?
