After scaring off (temporarily I hope Wink ) Devon Red, it took me back about 11 months to my first post which read a little something like this : -

8 jan 07 - 'altho he is trouble and never liked him when he's played against us, reckon leon knight could do a job for us as he's the kinda 'sniffer' that we're looking for'

today - Altho not done the best of jobs at MK, I still maintain what I said back then as I'm a stubborn cunt.

What was your first ever post? (no editing please) and do you still stand by what you said way back when?

How do chaps?

Basically the problems with the site going down looked to be because of the forum software.

Rather than persevere with it I have kicked it into touch and gone for what looks to be a much more reliable and feature packed effort recommended by SY.

Unfortunately that means all has been lost from the old forum including usernames so everyone is going to have to re-register. One bonus is that registration actually works with this version.

Couple of nice extra features on here. You can send messages to other users via the forum that can be read the next time the recipient logs on. There is also an instant messenger feature so you can talk to other users online.

Still a bit of tinkering to do but everything should be up and running by Monday morning in time for work.

In the mean time any suggestions, problems and the like bang a new topic in and I'll get it sorted.

Cheers

I've just got broadband and can now listen to the games I can't get to online.

Think I'd have rather just read about this one in tomorrows paper Sad

I can't remember, it seems putting the name of the team we were playing in the thread title wasn't the done thing back then!

I think the TEF was only a couple of days old then.
