Steve Cotterill an early contender for MKD.
A match made in heaven.

I can see Robinson ending up here.. Fits right in. Would he work with Power? Not sure. Would I want him? Not sure....

For any interested club I suppose the question is 'was Karl Robinson a success at MKD?'
He was well backed throughout his time but achieved promotion mainly thanks to having an extremely talented player named Dele Alli within his ranks. A departure they did not recover from.
I expected MKD to stay in The Championship longer.

Bit harsh, they had a good team. Ben Reeves is a tidy player and they had Benik Afobe for the first half of the season too.

It could be argued that Robinson made Dele Alli what he is. Perhaps he can do similar with a Murray, or a Brophy, or a smith....

I'm serious thought of course. We do have some talented players. I'm not saying he'll necessarily get them to the same level as Alli, but the point still stands. Another manager could get the best of out of some of our youngsters, it's not going to happen the way things stand though.

Thing is Luke has brought the likes of Barry, Brophy etc forward. It's just that they started from such a low base. The likes of Mass and Byrne, were already at a reasonable level, so you end up with something better for the same amount of turd polishing. One of our problems is that Power can no longer get quality recruits from his contact book, which looks like he left it the wash.
