I will not believe anything until any deal is done.
But one thing I will say is that IF he goes to Northampton, it must be down to one thing - money, because they are a nothing team, (and now they will beat us on Saturday) Where as we are massive? We've been a lower league side for over a decade now! I want him here, but if he decides to go to Northampton so be it. |

Looking at the Northampton forum it seems that this rumour of him being there for a medical was started by someone "who went to their ticket" for their game tonight. Hardly reliable.

i'm still in the 'happy to have a club' frame of mind.
we never sign people for 250k, there's plenty of cheaper fish in the sea.
would be great to have him though, but i've got faith in paynter to put some gloss on our season, providing he brushes up on his finishing.
