Apparently Lee Power has been approached by an agent enquiring about Kasim on behalf of a Middle Eastern club

I thought this was going to be a thread about close encounters of the third kind!

Depends on his motivations. If its cash he's after ... Not a particularly good career move if you harbour ambitions to play at the highest level though.

Unless there is some super rich Iraq club who tempt him home, I'm guessing it's unlikely one of those exists.

I think he moved out here with his family. He spoke about moving to Jordan, then to London.

Think it's clear to everyone that unless the club get promoted then some players leaving is inevitable.

Thats fine though, we'll have a few million in the bank, and have players desperate to come I would imagine. And as Echo and the Bunnymen said "nothing ever lasts forever.."

True. The quality of player available on loan - released from bigger clubs shows all is not lost even if a few leave.

Agered it looks like those that choose the players have a good eye for talent though that certainly helps, it is inevitable that we will lose at least 2 regardless what league we are in next season, hopefully, we can keep hold of everyone this season to have a good go at trying to get out of L1.

If anything the best thing to come out of this season is the new reputation we must have amongst premiership clubs. They'll all want to send their top players, which will help replace those that we lose, but also we clearly have an ability to find a top talent from non-league/reserve sides.
