There's me protesting.

All petitions are pointless shit but especially internet ones, some girl asked me to sign a petition for a hindu prayer area the other day, I really couldn't give a toss but I signed it away - that's how little petitions mean.

some bloke got me to sign a petition for the cafe to serve greek coffee. I like coffee but couldn't really give a monkeys.

It's when people ask you to do a petition for something you don't believe in and when you say no they get shirty. The "it's for a good cause" argument means bugger all if you don't care

I reckon all petition makers should be sent to the Julian Alsop "101 uses for a banana" course, which is being run from now til May.  Then they wouldn't be able to sit down for six months so at least we'll get some peace from these people.
