Not a major surprise. He was brought in by Jed's original board. With Lee Power now resposible for all football matters and KMac blatantly having sod all input into transfers probably feels he is being forced out.

Does seem like KMac hasn't been happy with the transfer arrangements over the past few months or so with slightly negative comments in interviews and whatnot. Really wouldn't be surprised.

He's still got 2 years left on his contract...it would be unusual to walk out on that, but maybe feels he's enough for a constructive dismissal case.

Will he get another chance at management if he walks away though?

We're just going all out to get the record for greatest number of Scottish managers within a 20 year period.

Chaos is normal here.  Tomorrow, this will just be yesterday's news.

Wonder if there are any board members at the game tonight? If not, they could be negotiating with Kmac? Are all the other staff there, I wonder?

Cooper is in charge, and I expect he will be given the job for the season should Macdonald leave.

I find that highly unlikely

And Fabrizio Piccareta was PDC's man. This doesn't necessarily mean anything.

Cooper is in charge, and I expect he will be given the job for the season should Macdonald leave.

Doubt it, he's only got non-league experience, hasn't he?
