Me too, don't forget the futureheads who are the best band on that bill, that also includes the killers. Its gonna be a good one! Kaiser chiefs are ace live, i saw them supporting the ordinary boys.

I don't think Bloc Party are overrated, I don't buy nme or anything so I hadn't heard any hype at all about them but I saw them on Jools Holland and they were fucking superb, best band on it by far. If anything they are underrated as they haven't sold much yet but that'll probably change next year.

in 2005 watch out for great albums by:
...
dead 60's

yes!

Anyone who has yet to hear them, check out the video for their latest single The Last Resort. I knew you'd know 'em mex, they played your club?

Last year I could only list 4 new albums that I enjoyed, so far this year I have seriously enjoyed the following:

The Wedding Present - Take Fountain (definitely up there with some of my favourite albums already)
Kaiser Chiefs - Employment (Blur circa The Great Escape with a more rock edge)
Bloc Party - Silent Alarm (Little Thoughts should have been on it and I don't like the remixed version of She's Hearing Voices)
Doves - Some Cities (bit hit and miss at times but there's some seriously good tracks on there)

and it's only the end of March. What albums have you lot been enjoying so far this year? Furthermore, Belle & Sebastian are releasing a boxset and this makes me very happy indeed.
