I'm struggling to understand that as well. How can it be decided weeks in advance who wears what? Millwall could have decided they would play in all white as well (that's more traditional for them than us, as that was their regular home kit for a few years in the 70's) Then what would they have done?..it's all bollocks. Agreed (hence my 'for whatever reason'). Although that's maybe 1 of the reasons why they needed so much notice, so they could sort out any disputes. It's things like Sky doing their pre-match bits & pieces. But mainly, I suspect, some over-paid corporate kiss-arse needing to be seen to be buzzing around trying to justify his/her salary.

if we play in red socks and shorts, like blackpool have in orange, then i think that is a nearly reasonable compromise.

The Blackpool fans arent happy about it either. They are staging an orange protest in the stands!

I'd agree with that.

Blackpool's away kit has Tangerine shorts and socks normally though, no?

It would still be a good compromise for us to wear red shorts and socks.

Isn't it because Blackpool's home kit has white shorts, and so would clash with Cardiff's white shorts?

as the white kit is lined with blue(which makes the decision to play in it against millwall even more baffling) it would look pretty stupid with red socks and shorts. scrub that idea

Yeah, red shorts and socks with the white shirt wouldn't go.
