Harry M and unused sub today. (there were 5 made)

He can't play for another team this season (I think) so perhaps a loan back here might suit all parties?

‘Our Harry’ wasn’t easy to handle. He could be quite disruptive. The New Manager, if there is one, may not be prepared to gamble so don’t hold your breath.

After mckirdys interview saying how desperate he was to leave etc it would be massive tail between the legs moment. He was always a bellend but he was our bellend so it made it liveable.

Elsewhere BFG made a bit of a howler against Bristol City and apparently made a few more errors in recent Swansea games

Not sure he’d be welcome after that interview he did.

I expect most would overlook that if he hit the ground running but he’s barely played in so long…

For me, I’d rather be looking slightly more long term. It’s a type of player we don’t have but feel it would a bit of waste to fill that gap with someone who’d be gone again come the summer

thing is, with Austin, jephcott, wakeling, RHM and Adeloye we are a bit full there

last seasons HMcK walks into the team mind.

not sure the club would want him back though

I wonder if we would accommodate Simpson if the opportunity arose.

No chance of that happening, we have Austin and Jephcott in that tole. I would be more inclined to bring in a wider striker like Mckirdy or barry in style. I really am not convinced by RHM

Wakeling too as a central striker.
Concur we need wide forwards over centre forwards.

I doubt very much it would happen but he would be the big lump up front needed to hold the ball up and Austin could do his bit in the box.

I think the key thing is that Charlie will be able to hold the ball up and bring others into play. When we have played more that 1 upfront this year with Jephcott playing that role we have done well. Playing players like Wakeling and RHM upfront as lone strikers is pointless, midfield can't link up as nothing sticks. I am looking forward to having a striker throwing his weight around making it hard for defenders
