Id say thats the best post of the night rather than fuckwits clamouring for the inclusion of players they know fuck all about.

What does it take to see that the defenders on display this evening and all season are not good enough, Wilson already has the replacements lined up and we will see wholesale changes on Saturday, whether they are good enough is another question. You will not see some of these defenders play for us again!

Really? 2nd at home against 20th? Don't think anyone was expecting us to compete, much less run them close. At least a point?

TBF Bormuff are something of a curio....fuck all money, sold 2 strikers this season and lost a manager, appointed a scummer with no experience...yet keep getting results. Logic dictates the wheels have to fall off sometime soon, so tonight would have been as good a night as any.

Fair point. But you don't go expecting it, do you?

What a difference a year makes?  This time last season we were going anywhere and expecting to come away with something.  Ah the good old days  Crying

Looking at the table Plymouth are only 3 points above us and they've played an extra game. Some teams have 4 games in hand on them so expect them to sink like a stone. Hardly surprising considering all the players they've sold.

We are all worried by it, but its not inevitable we are doomed.
Actually it is. Our sun will eventually, inevitably burn itself out, condemning our whole planet to an icy death. I just don't think that event will be precipitated by losing away at Bournemouth

On that point what do people see as the problem area.

Cuthbert, Sheehan and Amankwha were good enough for us last year. Is it loss of form or loss of Greer that has knackered us, or something else?

There isn't a leader. Which Greer was last season.

Because of there league position they can play with no fear.....unlike us alas.

Probably the answer to your question Batch.

I dont think Ive heard Wilson talking out like this against the ref yet this season.  Interesting to see the highlights when they come up.

Wilson could win every remaining game of the season and there'd still be voices of dissent.

Our major problem has been up front.  This has been pinpointed by comparitive goal scored/conceded posted on this forum at the same stage last season.  Paynter was ousted, Dossevi and Pericard were trusted in replacing the goals.  Sadly they weren't capable, and it's been suggested Charlie began to become Big Time.  Due to the nature of the transfer window, Wilson has struggled to fix this.  Throwing Bodin (or <insert random 15yr old here>) into the fray will not yield multiple copies of Charlie Austin.

If we're relegated, then I'd agree that Wilson's time is up.  But I've seen enough about us this season to suggest we'll stay up.  Maybe a glance at the table tonight will be the catalyst to propel us up the table.

Tonight is not slit-your-wrist, punch your missus time.

So, on the upside:

We've played well away at a team still (bafflingly perhaps) challenging for promotion
Sounds like an improved display from Dossevi - actually hit the net, for one thing
We've scored twice without a recognised goal scorer

On the downside:

Defence still ropey
Good performances without points don't get you anywhere, especially where we are
Sides below us are closing the gap
We're in the drop zone
The negativity will go through the roof

The big thing for me as well is that in the 2 games since you know who went we've actually looked and sounded like we have a bit of team spirit about us that we didn't have before.
