How does each way work on first goalscorer?

If they score at any other time.

Benyon had to be registered by the 5pm deadline to play tonight. He wasn't so can't play.

Some people in the excitement have got a little bit ahead of themselves.
registration is midnight before a match so he can play

The latest report on the Adver says he wasn't signed in time to be able to play tonight.

So 2-0 to Bournemouth it is!

Just noticed I am top of the Prediction league, having 'played' 2 games less.

 What does the winner get?

No Benyon, so either 0-0 or a 1-0 defeat.

Judging by previous years, a sense of desperation and the need to repeat ones self constantly.

Benyon had a badly broken nose before Saturday, which he broke again against Crawley, so I expect that's what is keeping him out.

2-0 defeat.

Can't see anything but a defeat if Benyon isn't playing.
