Were Posh in the Champ when he was there?
Didn't realise that.

According to wiki he's spent 3 seasons with Championship clubs and started a total of 5 games.
His record in the league above is far from impressive and I think I remember the Posh chairman saying something like he was a waste of money. With that in mind, I'm wondering if anybody would be willing to meet Power's evaluation.

To be fair though he was very young for the first 2. Still, it doesn't look good on paper.

No mention of Obika, thank God!
I think we all know the situation - meet our valuation + player wants to go - they're gone. That's the same for any player.

33 goals in season and half here for Ajose. Out of a career totalling 69 goals across 6 seasons that suggests he likes it here. But clearly that will be irrelevant if anyone meets El Supremo's valuation

I'm struggling to find a flaw in Kasim's game? I think there a few on here who might be able to help with that...
Attitude? I think Ajose is his correct level - to me a natural goalscorer but could work harder when the going gets tough - definitely not a hold-up player. Be sad to see him go though.

What would people sell Ajose for then?

There's nothing wrong with selling your best, or most valuable player. Not long ago we got good money for Simon Cox and built a play-off final team with the transfer fee. I'm sure Power will re-invest any transfer fees appropriately :-)

Undisclosed, because lets face it, none of our other recent transfer fees received have been said

I think it was Reg who mentioned that Dwight Gayle was bought by Crystal Palace from Peterborough for a reported 4 million. Seems a similar type of striker to Ajose, maybe a bit quicker and a poorer goal scoring record in league football. So why not look for a decent 7 figure sum. Then again, with SSP we had a three season 20 goal striker who iirc went for about 400,000. Different type of striker I know, but hopefully Power will insist on top dollar.

Why don't you knock it off with them negative waves? Why don't you dig how beautiful it is out here? Why don't you say something righteous and hopeful for a change? Crap!

A more useful comparison with NA, might be ALF (Adam le Fondre). Early years with Stockport and Rochdale, hit it off at Rotherham, so Reading apid £300K for him. Goal hangers are not the flavour of the month, with many managers. It's more about wages, if as seems to be expected a club turns NJ's head, and is prepared to pay about 300K he'll be gone.

I'd put him in the 400-600k bracket based on nothing whatsoever.
