And I've got a bone to pick with the league and Notts County. It wasn't that long ago they were going under and everything was awful. Is it just me or have they been signing many players and what not?
Fully agree Barry. Munto was reported of running £3m worth of debts at County. Their 'punishment' for breaking the salary cap was a transfer ban, which was meaningless in the end.

Their basing our position on the fact that we've lost two key players?
Yet Charlton have lost several key players (Burton, Sam, Richardson, Bailey, Shelvery) and are predicted 2nd?
Absolute bollocks.

Sort of like Southampton last year, creditors get fucked and they spend almost 2M on Barnard and Lambert. Notts County should not be in L1 purely becuase they exceeded the wage cap in L2 and cheated to win promotion.
Pretty certain Southampton paid all their debts in full, bar the mortgage on the ground for which they agreed a settlement figure with the lender. They didn't do a CVA, the new owner paid out in cash when he took over.

Still, it begs the question: What the fuck happened to all the horror going on an Notts County? They seem pretty fucking liquid to me. Clearly, as usual, lessons just aren't learned from. Living the dream baby, living the dream.

Going to be an exciting season for them then - pushing for promotion and battling relegation at the same time!

Just been reading through a few teams and notice that SkySports seem to have no idea about any of the player's transfer fees. They state Huddersfield's Scott Arfield, for instance, was singed on a free, not the £400k we all heard about (probably from them). Then there's others like Calderon of Brighton, it says he was released, even though he was going to Saints but signed a new contract... It's very poor.

They've got us down for 17th, which I'd hope is bollocks.
A columnist in the Times yesterday reckoned you'd overachieved last season, and that we'd finish in the play-off places.
Are you still in the market for a striker then? As Reg says, from the outside you've lost Greer and Paynter and nobody has come in to fill their boots yet?
Not teasing by the way, just an honest question.
