I've had 2 people on the L&P forum say that the Town End is shut Tuesday now and Only the Arkells and Kingswood Stand is open. Anyone with tickets then will be moved. Craig mentioned they are putting up new barriers in the Town End?

Guess it makes sense if they havent sold too many tickets. I would have thought we would get a good gate of 8000 or so as its Charlton and they were in the Prem etc... It is also the first home game, saying that I guess people cant afford say, Northampton, Luton, Cheltenham and the CC match?

FFS guys, there will not be a massive crowd and it saves on stewarding costs.

I'm taking my brother who lives in Norwich, myself in Surrey and picking another brother up in Newbury so If that's any sort of guide should be a fair attendance, none of us ever go in the town end anymore  so doesn't bother us too much

I'd of thought there would be a bigish crowd, first home game of the season, and charlton are probably the biggets team we could of got in the draw.

we had a good attendance for brentford at home last season, why wouldn't we have an attendance as good as that?

Maybe as Bushey said they decided only to save on costs or maybe the new investors (no politics please) have put a bit of money in to do the place up a bit?? Makes no difference anyway I dont think.

I've heard they're taking the seats out of the Town End and returning it to a terrace. A gesture of good will from the new investors/board to the fans, apparently.

Ive heard they're taking seats out and replacing them with sofas. Portugese leather aswell. An act of goodwill from the new investors to the fans.
