Spoke to someone at the club shop before the Orient game and she said they were hoping to receive delivery this week.............

Which probably means January.

Don't think there'll be many on general sale, as they were only doing a limited (1000?) release and most of those were pre-ordered.

I much prefer the 3rd shirt to the white shirt.

Lynn said they'd hopefully be in 'before the next home game', this week would be good mind!.

--
I got my home shirt replaced last week, only wore it 5 times and the lettering/leaf was caput. It seemed to 'go' when I gave the little one a cuddle so maybe it is heat related.

The new one is from the 'new batch', so we'll see if Lotto have managed to fix their cock up. Lasy years Nationwide logo is fine, perhaps if it is the size of the lettering/logo Kingswood would consider putting it all in a block (like nationwide) for next season.

I Emailed the shop earlier this week asking this very question. Reply below.

I am most sorry but due to a delay from lotto we are not yet in

We have been given a new date of the24th of this month so I do hope that
this is alright for you

ye they did say end of november.

they club probably used the money from deposits to play off some debts and are waiting for the take over to be complete so they can pay lotto for the shirts and then they can get delivered.

I've washed my home shirt loads and the lettering is fine, the edges aren't great but it's nothing too major.

Which powder do you use? And do you find fabric conditioner helps? Also, can you advise which spin cycle gives optimum results and whether this should be combined with drying flat?

I have no idea, I just place it in the washing basket and then it magically re-appears in my wardrobe. I was not aware there were other stages??

To be fair, it's not clear whether this is STFC fault or Lotto promising but failing to deliver.

Incidentally my newly replaced red top (from the 2nd batch delivered)  is peeling it's letters after 1 fucking wear.

I might just get a refund this time as they are clearly not fit for purpose.

Slightly unfair I think, at the moment Diamandis has the say in what goes in there - he boasted once that he stocks the shop (and possibly takes a large slice of the profits too) - and when I enquired about the black shirt three weeks ago I jokingly suggested that if the previous bills were paid it might help hurry them along a bit, I got a look that appeared to be in agreement with me!!

Probably mostly true.

I was quite impressed to see that for the first time ever they acctually have the home and away shirts in long sleeve available. Depending on christmas funding I might well be purchasing one  8)

My ex washed his england shirt (with a number printed) on the hottest wash in the washing machine and it all come out melted and stuck together - needless to say I took it back and still got a replacement!

The club shop must have handed out so many Swindon replacement shirts by now.  Everytime I go in theres someone exchanging.

TBH it's not rocket science. If a bachelor living alone like me can wash my clothes correctly without shrinking, dying or making them peal off then i'm sure most people can figure it out.

I never wash any clothes above 40c apart from bedsheets

I can't just nip down there, I'm in Swansea.

I am going to Exeter at the weekend, I suppose I could make a de-tour, but I'll be leaving here at about 4 so it would have to be open until at least 6.

Why dont lotto JUST USE THE SAME FUCKING MATERIAL FOR THE REST OF THE SHIRTS. SPASTICS.

I know - It would be so much better and they would probably sell alot more - I think Zoes suggested it many times but you know what the clubs like - and I guess Lyn wouldnt really understand the need for fitted shirts! :soapy tit wank:

I thought it might be OK with the black shirts as black is supposed to be slimming and all that!

Haha, fair play to Zoe, maybe one day.  Fitted shirts would definitely sell a lot more.

The black I have to say looks better on than the red but if you cheat and subtly tuck a little bit of the sides in it kind of looks fitted!  :soapy tit wank:

I have to try and sneak into the shop and collect them without my boyfriend noticing as one is his birthday gift - which also means I wont be able to wear mine for a week either!

midday I think - but dont hold me to that

The queue is always ginourmous and makes me loose the will to live - might Email the shop and see if its OK for my dad to pop in and collect them next week for me when hes in Town - Lyn wont mind - I think she fancies my dad

It's different print/material to the other shirts, but I don't think it will be any better.

The print definitely feels better/thicker. If it starts to go I will be getting a refund on this one.
