Difficult to know....there were tickets on sale prior to the match, but it's quite possible that you could pay on the day. The official attendance was 98,189. That season Arsenal's average attendance was roughly twice ours, so if you give them 64 000 and us 32 000, that would probably seem about right.

Must have been at least 35k as the attendance was 98k me being one of them.

Can only imagine what it must have been like to watch the Town in a packed crowd of almost 100k. Incredible.

I still think we'll top 30,000 - although at the outset I'd have said anything over 25,000 would have been impressive.  Most of the people going this time will also have been in 2010 - when both the football on the pitch and the atmosphere in the stands were rubbish.

A lot of these estimates have been well overtaken, mine included, a newer estimate I feel will be 28,244.

To put this into context for the League Cup final both Cardiff and Liverpool took 31,000 with both those clubs having much larger support than us.

Yes I know they had a smaller allocation than they could have sold but its still a great turn out for what a lot of fans call a Mickey Mouse/tinpot cup final.

I think we will have done well if we get to 30,000 to be honest.

It is nice to know that if we ever did get to a 'proper' cup final we'd sell out our allocation no problem. High 20's for the Jpt is pretty good going.

You also have to remember that this is also our 2nd time at the new Wembley. There will no doubt be a few day trippers who went for the experience last time and won't come back again this time.

What is the current count of tickets sold for Wembley?

In the Advertiser this morning it says " Town look set to have at least 30,000 supporters heading to the capital on Sunday "  Dont know if we have sold 30,000 but that's what they are suggesting.

I thought there was supposed to be some tickets on sale from the box office for the last week? I would have thought this would help any last minute undecided fans get a ticket should they wish to go.

Sounds like a good idea but it will upset some fans who paid the booking fees etc.

I have no problem with them doing it though, the more the merrier even if they are day trippers, I want to see a sea of red and white at one end of the stadium that will really spur the players on.

There's going to be a lot of red at both ends of the stadium by the sounds of it, given Chesterfield's sales figures
