No, if I remember rightly it was Harry Kewell.

Mark Wright, in front of the Kop with a kind of header that skimmed his head.

My old man often refers to that. Didn't Shankly say we were "the worst team they'd ever played" or words to that effect?
A long time ago, but I remember it as the luckiest team they'd ever played and he couldn't understand how his side had lost.

I can also remember a few disgruntled Liverpool fans singing a song about Graeme Souness (then manager) & about his bypass

That may well be it Reg. He also says the pitch was a quagmire i believe.

Some of us may remember a happy night in October 1970 when we dumped Liverpool 2-0 out of their favourite League Cup. Shankly was not a happy bunny.
I was there - "Alun Evans is a fairy"

Liverpool hammering us 5-0 at home that season managed to make it into their top 100 prem games according to LFC TV.

May have been, I remember he got a bit of Scouse hospitality after he'd been there a while, in the form of a glass in the face, which didn't do much for his looks.

Anyway this is a Swindon forum so it's all about Swindon.
I'd argue that recently we've been more about giving 4D life advice than Swindon.

Wasn't it Ian Rush in the 89th minute?
No on both counts. You need to get your Google looked at.

My mate won 60 notes on a 2-2 prediction.....paid for his day out. I do remember clearing the first row of seats when we took the lead and the calm down signs that everybody held up.
