Title: Coming Away Trips
Post by: Ralphy on Sunday, October 30, 2005, 17:31:25
I have looked at our upcoming away matches and i won't be able to make Port Vale or Rotherham so Oldham on 10th December is my next.

I also have 2 queries about our xmas away matches.

1) I can make Chesterfield away on wednesday 28th december IF it's a 3:00pm kick off and not a night game?

2) Is the Hartlepool away match on monday 2nd january a night game? Monday 2nd is a bank holiday.

Bank holiday games are almost always 3pm kick offs. Not sure about 1) though

Didn't you go to Huddersfield?

Neither of those 2 are as far.

Almost home games for me - Birmingham is great :?

They're both 3pm kick-offs.

I will be at Chesterfield, I'm up for Hartlepool if somebody is driving. My little car wouldn't cope with that journey.

My car ate through a full tank of fuel yesterday.

I filled to the brim before i set off, on the way back when i joined the M40 at Brum heading for Warwick and the fuel light came on

It's 150 miles from my house to Huddersfield so i work out i got 270 miles roughly from a full tank cos i had about 30 miles to go when the light came on

Stopped in Wellesbourne to top up.

I may have been caught by the camera's on the A34. They were doing road works, so put a 40mph limit on it, which is gay. I trundled along at about 50mph, then slowed down for the camera. I swear that it flashed me, so i think it may have been one of those average speed fuckers

A34 is a cunt of a road, i hate it.

Especially by Botley where there are cameras every foot.

I thought Huddersfield would be my last away game for a while but I've just spotted Rotherham - Tuesday night special

Oldham on the following Saturday may be edging on divorce considering I'm meant to be moving house that weekend.

But that's it for the season me thinks  :(
