if wenger goes then arsenal will have a big problem.he balances the books brilliantly and doesn't pay big money for players.any new manager would want big money to spend if wenger went.

no I was just stating Arsenal will struggle without Henry ... I supported Arsenal during the 80s and waited 17 years of my life for a trophy (Littlewoods cup 1987) while all my Liverpool supporting mates took the piss ... hardly a glory hunter

my first trophy was Div 4 championship with Swindon as a supporter ...  Cheesy

You waited 17 years for glory as an Arsenal fan and that wait ended in 1987.  Which means you waited since 1970.  What happened to you in 1979 then???  Arsenal 3 Man Utd 2.

Not to mention 1971.

I don't understand.

So what Fatbury really means is

"How can I be a glory supporter when I started supporting Arsenal the year they won the double".

And

"Swindon's 4th division title was my fifth trophy as a football fan after

1970 Uefa Cup
1971 League Title
1971 FA Cup
1979 FA Cup"

Hopefully this is the start of Arsenal imploding.

It would be nice to see Tottenham regain their rightful place as North Londons top club.

Yes.  Especially after they got off scot-free for their financial irregularities when they should have suffered the same punishment as we did.

I can't understand anyone who sympathises with Spurs, I really can't.  That club makes my skin crawl.

Erm, isn't Hertha a Yid anyway? Which would explain his liking of Tottenham.

right I will clarify this one .....

i was born in 1971 AFTER the double was won

and yeah you are right Arsenal did win the FA Cup in 1979 ... i forgot! oh well nine years then ... tho how the hell I forgot that I dont know!! I think I was thinking of the 18 years I waited for a league title ...

So yeah youre right the Swindon Div 4 trophy was the first I saw won for real so to speak ...

You waited nine years of which 5 you were hardly able to "support" a team.  You really did wait a long time to "win" the FA Cup Fatters!!

I'm not bothered either way mate, I just love picking holes in your statements!
