Good point. Why, when we're playing the best football I've seen from a Town side for fucking years, are we still struggling to get 7,000? The years of neglect and mismanagement are going to take a long time to turn around.

And "long ball"?!? Clearly written by someone who hasn't seen us play this season.

Under Macari the football was dire at times...but he got results and promotion, and ultimultly the fans returned, the same will happen under Wilson regardless of the style of play.

Exactly. Tell the woman to get on with her hobby, (ironing, cleaning, talking for hours oin the phone about nothing) & let the man get on with his (going down the pub, getting balddered & watching Football)

Damn straight mate....the number of good lads I've known who've gone from being top fans, to under the thumb is many.

It should be pointed out early doors, that nowt will get in the way of necessary manly pursuits.

all the talk of long ball being a negative is utter bollocks.the long ball is the most effective pass in football.
we do hit it long at times, but it's not aimless punts.

Quite right, no-one on this earth could play a long ball like Glenn Hoddle.

Can't remember his or his team(s) ever being compared to Wimbledon

Meh, I didn't think we could rely on Southend this evening.

True. But I'd rather watch us win playing the sort of football we're playing now. And it pisses me off when some fuckwit who hasn't seen Swindon play this season describes us as "long ball".
