I may get his name on my shirt.

Will be Ferry across the jersey.

Great move to bring him in. Our midfield will have some terrific movement with him, JP, Prutton and Douglas combined.  Ferry and the Spacemakers, if you will.

I think another Striker "would be nice" but I dont think its essential.

If we had injuries we could just loan someone

I guess the need for a striker comes down to how much faith you have in Perricard, and the fact Ball is an unknown and may not even play up front.

Personally I'd see how it went. Perricard needs to be given a chance.

Agree.

Re: Ball i think Caddis signing could make him less likley to fature on the wing, Caddis could play RM with JPM going left.

I know this is very sad, but I honestly havent been this excited about two signings for years. Ferry was superb last season, his run for Ward goal against Charlton said everything about him in my opinion. And I have heard nothing but good things about Caddis from a Celtic supporting colleague.

Two players of a decent quality actually want to come to the town, can see what we're trying to do and want to be a part of it. Its a refreshing change from those who want to sit in the stands and collect their money every week. After several years of dross we finally seem to be able to attract good players, Douglas, Lucas, Prutton, Cuthbert, now these two. Can you imagine that under Malpas or King?!!!

(I am now praying they both sign and the deal doesnt fall through becuase their wages demands are too high!!! Then I will look very silly indeed).

Roll on the 7th is what I say!!!!

Could be. I think Caddis will start right back myself.

Good to have choices though!

Its good news isn't it. Mind you last time I was excited about a double signing was Thorpe and Cureton....

Do we think this could have been the final nail in their coffin?

It must be a done deal then. I'm going out to get Ferry's face tattooed on my back.

Make sure it's that way round.

I think we will use Caddis as a winger. Amankwaah had a very good season last year and would be harsh on him to sudden lose his place in the team.

We are probably in need of another winger more so than a full back, so at a guess Caddis right wing and JPM left - although that takes out the Amankwaah/JPM partnership which was really good last season. Unless he sticks Caddis left.

We will see.

Centre Back now please Wilson and we're almost set.

Should just say I agree with that, it was more based on Derby nicking his place at the back end of last season.

Darby only came in because Amankwaah was injured and he did a decent job so kept his place and/or Liverpool 'expected' him to play a certain % of games.
