we need a finisher. sadly, the only player i've seen all season who looks like a finisher is playing on the wing - when he gets in the team.

i saw nothing from rhodes yesterday that suggests to me he's any better than what we've got, but that's the only time i've seen him so far, so i'll reserve judgment for now.

fola's a waste of space, effective yet totally useless - a complete paradox. bizarre.

we should have been 2-0 up before lincoln scored, if we'd have taken the lead i don't honestly believe lincoln had enough in their locker to come back.

Fola's a complete nightmare to watch - much like Shakes in as much that he works himself into good positions but is bereft of basic skill so cannot convert. Both are athletes, not footballers - in Shakes' case he could perhaps be a decent right back, but he's no attacking winger.

Fola creates opprtunities that many strikers wouldn't through his strength, acceleration and pace, but his finshing is woeful. I'd far rather see Peacock and Rhodes, or Peacock and Brownlie even, up top (I don't even really rate Brownlie, but he'd finish more than Fola).

being a right winger involves alot of defensive work aswell thats the main reason i would not have him out there i would rather he was up front with someone other than peacock.imo its time we dropped peacock if not only for the kick up the ass factor that it might give him.

drop Peacock, for who? he is the only player we have who can win flick ons and hold the ball up

I would question Fola's defensive work, but at the moment J.Smith  can deal with everything that comes at him anyway.

Wingers main role is to attack and get crosses in. Shakes didnt do that yesterday and doesnt do it very often

Good shout, the problem is where? As a striker, the few times I've seen him play for the first team he hasn't really impressed. Although when we played Brentford and he was in the centre of midfield, he looked very good.

The only striker that hasn't really been given a chance up front is Rhodes. Peacock is the best attacker we've got at the moment and unfortunately, cos he hasn't got anyone of class working alongside him, a lot of the balls he wins are wasted. Also he tends to drift out wide because of the poor service from the flanks. The best crosser of the ball is Jack Smith and he's a defender!

To be honest Lincoln did'nt impress me that much at all. Nothing special.

I thought we were doing really well until we conceded and then things went down hill but nothing unusual there! I was expecting the worse from us, but we showed passion and grit and for that I was really proud. However I felt there was no way we should of lost. A point atleast. Thats the most frustrating thing ever, you play well and lose, don't really mind if we play crap and lose but that.....grr....ahwell!
I think we can get a result against hereford. I picked up on alot of positives yesterday. But unfortunately it just was'nt our day. The fans were ace. Brilliant atmosphere.

I saw that... Was going at some pace too.

Peacock and Fola played well but neither can score.

Shakes is the worst though, put it either side of him ffs! Don't hit it with no pace STRAIGHT at the goalkeeper you muppet!

that's the answer...

why not give Holgate a go, he cant be any worse that what we've got.

We have one right winger and the club and he's pants...
