I have purchased an iphone 4s off ebay and although it has no sim card the phone is locked to Vodafone. I need to get it unlocked and moved across to three network. Ask the person you bought it off whether they had the phone running on Vodaphone. If so, ask them to fill in the Vodafone unlock form. That's what I did when I bought one off a friend who had it locked to O2.
