Be interesting to see how long his contract will be, presumably after he passes a medical. Not wanting to be a wet blanket because it looks like a smart bit of business, but reading between the lines I hope his injury history hasn't spoilt his potential.

That seems to be an old happy new year thread! Couldn't find the correct one

Sorry about that, looks like I missed the 6 off the end!

Copy and paste gone wrong!

Happy new year anyway!

Short term deal seems sensible.  Nice to have another option, every time Hasney doesn't get straight back up after a challenge I cringe a bit, though Vincent does OK in the middle.

He is a good, young Central Defender, and with good coaching will, I'm sure, prove to be an asset to STFC. Still learning his trade and had a difficult time with niggly injuries over the past few months, but a good acquisition for the club.

Great signing. A shame we didn't get him for longer though because he could get snapped up at the end of the season if he does well. But i'm pleased with that. More cover is what we needed at CB.

Living in deep QPR country, the overwhelming opinion is that there's lots of potential there.  He was very good when he had the little run the side before injury.  The fact that QPR are loaded now is probably the only reason they haven't persevered with him.

Seems like a good signing if he can stay fit.

i have noticed that hasney is a bit of a wimp, isnt he?

first time he gets hit he goes down.

soft northerner.

what i do think though is that we need to have songs for each player.

"you'll never beat kanyuka" would be a good one.

by the way, 2 own goals on saturday and none by des walker. forest fans must be amazed.
