This is the water. And this is the well. Drink full and descend. The horse is the white of the eyes and dark within.

Gutted. I hope the regulars who posted there find their way over here some time soon. It's been around a long time. Sad to see it go.
RIP MOS.

Shit. Fucking Sky - buy it, wreck it, close it. Another small piece of football destroyed by Murdoch's whores

Yeah yeah blame Sky, I think you are missing the bigger point here Paul, Sutton becomes moderator, weeks later it's gone. I blame him. Entirely. And, if the moderator of the Town end is reading, I'd like him banned please.
And all before I got to tell Leroy about going to Take That. Right well someone, and when I say someone I mean Sutton, needs to set up stillmyonlyswindon.com or something similar. No offence to those who post here but it's not really the same..

It's a fair point actually - Sky have had control for a year or so and apart from completely wrecking the format, all was well, but as you say sutton comes along and the whole thing's down the tubes within weeks. Clearly sutton is the insider behind a sinister plot to bring down MoS. In my defence, my attention was distracted by being distraught at the thought of having to face the season without KR's incisive postmatch analysis of the game - how will I know what I've watched (and he's usually not) now? At the very least, sutton should set up mythoughtsontodaysgame.com

Well fear not Paul, it seems even before rivals demise many of the original Rivals publishers (a lot were print fanzines pre internet) had began to move their sites in protest at Sky royally fucking up.. to here http://www.fansonline.net/ so I think we should move MOS there too? I've all ready sent Sutton an e mail about this but I thought I'd put it up here too, add a bit of public pressure.

Oh and I've got most of the posters (including Riddle and 'Kingston Robin', as if he exists) e mail address's, so advertising the switch should be straight forward..

I don't think sutton bows to public pressure - I'm starting to picture him as a kind of Kim Yong Il figure, including the tiny tailor-made suits. He's not going to listen, he's more likely to order in the Rivals Republican Guard
EDIT (yeah that sounds like a good idea though)

Used to go on Rivals all the time. Loved the banter with Riddel and Leroy and Sleepingminnow's anorak like qualities. There was a guy called Townfish as well who used to be a bit of a windup merchant if memory recalls correctly.
