Come on Cadds, you surely want to be involved in this season?

My thoughts exactly. Apologise, knuckle down, be part of something special.

PDC:
- As a perfectionist I dont enjoy conceeding 3 goals
- Players were warriors
- Made some mistakes but a great performance
- 1st half looked like Stoke vs Barcelona
- When Crouch came on we made 2 mistakes and conceeded 2 goals
- 7-8 mins of panic. But after this we came back
- To win like we did you have to have fantastic skill and desire
- Fair result for the squad. A special result
- Top Premiership teams struggle to score more than 1 here
- Happy and proud. But from now PDC thinks about the next game
- PDC was confident at all stages that we could win
- At 2-2 when we panicked for 7-8 mins was the only time he was worried
- Never lost his belief
- James Collins scored fantastic hattrick. Clever and intelligent against big giant players
- Praised Andy Williams. He missed a goal, but the way that he pulled the defence apart was something special for us
- A year ago he called the team chihuahuas. Tonight they were warriors
- Players handled the situation well. Having desire and energy to go forward at the end was difficult for them
- Special occasion, special game. We go through, but we need to focus on Preston
- But they deserve to relax and enjoy tonight on the way home
- Tomorrow they will be back to work
- Hopes for another Premiership team in the next round

Andy Williams getting some love from PDC at the moment. The goals will come, I'm sure.

And Collins gets a hat trick and PdC kicks him up the arse (as seen on SSN)

Wow what a fucking game. Peace of piss first 60 minutes, could have been more, then they came strong.

Then we scored in extra time. Then they did. It was like two boxers slugging it out. The last minute winner and the place erupted, yet there were still hearts in mouths as they had two corners.

Erm, i'll post more tomorrow. Im emotionally wrecked.

Can't remember when last STFC were last a cup team - it's really been grim in the Cups for years now

2 top tier teams in two seasons plus Bristol City, Brighton, Huddersfield etc for good measure not to mention other minor scalps

From being like Stoke v Barcelona in the first half to taking an old fashioned aerial Stoke battering in the second and living to tell the tale show class, belief and guts, with every player a hero

Can't wait for the first hand accounts and video clips.  Very proud, again, tonight

Buzzing. And I didn't even go. Imagine how everyone must be feeling on the way home from Stoke tonight. That is what being a football fan is all about. The past 12 months as a Town fan have been nothing short of sensational at times. The feel good factor is deffo back. It really does feel like we are building something special here again.

Fucking awesome result.

To be fair, the vast majority of stokies are very complementary about us.

This post is worth a read
