All of those penalty decisions are soft.

Ok, so for our penalty the angle of the replay is not going to the most conclusion.

Benda wins the ball for their first. Their man just falls down for their second

Great result.

Both the Salford & Cheltenham injury time goals resulted from a defender initially committing themselves rashly when all that was needed was to back off and ensure the attacker went nowhere.

Two instances are not exactly a pattern but naïve defending.

Top of the league lads. Time for a cheap can of John Smiths.

From the Salford forum...

"The Swindon guy with the beard and longish hair pulled so many strings in midfield and upfront and was the architect of so many of Swindon's creative moves that should make him a prime target for us come the next transfer window".

I'm sorry.....fucking what

It's a curious stat that no Town own player, as opposed to loanee, has scored for 10 games, the last Keshi Anderson v Macc.

Wouldn’t surprise me if Salford went in for Wellens. Money talks at the end of the day and Salford probably have a bigger budget than Swindon.  Wellens has a good eye for spotting talent and Salford could probably afford to get Doyle on a perm (even if it’s for next season).

They probably don't know Doughty's particular circumstances, but Wellens did flag up their higher budget....

So I supposed they will expect to see a few come in Jan for a shot at getting promoted.

That was fun. Shame about the two penalties.

Having just seen both Salford pens I think the first was and the second not so.

home!  That was good fun.

Thought we controlled a fair period of the game, always felt we could open them up.

Thought the Benda penalty was one, accidental but a foul. The other two pens, no idea. Both looked soft.

Benda made a good save in the second half, which in the end proved crucial.

On the way back my lad gave Doyle MOM & I gave it to Grant. In some ways it seems harsh to single anyone out, they all as a unit played well.

PS. Leave the fucking smoke bombs at home you dicks.
