Fuck me Ardiles, do you really think Corbyn would have done a better job ?
Yeah, and Home Secretary Abbott too. I love this "the electorate got it wrong" angle from some people. They should step back & listen to themselves! Haha

Ardiles is spot on. The only part I'd disagree with him on is that this was unavoidable. It's humans treating animals terribly that caused this and that was of course avoidable. Many viruses come from the human treatment of animals. Like all the other distruction of the planet and environment, it's down to humans. For instance TB here in the UK, the Badgers are blamed with was due to British farming.
I will avoid a political debate here but I will say the shite coming from the mouths of Boris, Raab, Gove, and Hancock in the last fortnight trump's anything Abbott has ever said. They are not a black socialist woman though are they? It's like people have forgotten the pleas from NHS staff from the last decade. This virus is just confirming how poorly prepared we are. They warned us for years they were struggling. A Labour government would have helped them more. Not cheered and laughed as they cut them to the bones.

Would Corbyn have been a better PM overall? Maybe - maybe not. We will never know.
Would the NHS have been better prepared had Corbyn been PM? Of course they fucking would have been. He's a hardcore socialist, funding the NHS and other public services is what he and his ilk are all about. There would also have been a response ASAP once it was aware there's a problem. Again, it's what socialism all about.
I don't expect people to necessarily believe that Corbyn would be the better PM overall, and maybe Boris would be better in some other situations, but you'd have to be massively partisan to not see that socialism is what is needed in times like this. Even the Yanks are calling out for assistance with health care all of a sudden.
*Bracing for banal, trollish response.

Like I said before, I am not in favour of any political party but would you like the job in this predicament? I bet most wouldn't. He was in a lose lose situation.

That's a fucking shit excuse. That's like me getting a job as a pilot under false pretences, crashing the plane because I don't have a clue what I'm doing and then turning round to the judge at my subsequent manslaughter trial and saying "Huh, bet you wouldn't have done any better".

Just cooked a mushroom bhaji for part of tonight's meal. I'm the only one in my house who eats mushrooms so its all mine. Very pleased with it for a first effort. Will also be making a chicken Madras later.
