I think I would Physically kiss this mans bottom to show my appreciation. He sounds amazing from what I hear.
What a fantastic start to the season, I expect he will remember that game in years to come

i thought roberts was going to head that in on the line when i saw the goal this morning.

although brezovan clearly had the game of his life and saved two penalties,
the penalties were preety poorly taken. but he did what was asked of him
roll on tuesday.
if only we had him against brighton in the play off semi

One thing came into my mind yesterday. He is far far too good for this league. A class apart in goalkeeping terms. It was just the penalty saves, he made 5 or 6 amazing other ones, point blank range. Missed one cross in the game, but caught superbly overall.

We are onto a winner with this boy.

Didn't Dennis say when we signed him that it was only the fact he can't speak any English that meant he was available to us at all? And that once he learns some English, they're expecting him to be worth 100k+ with sides coming in from the Championship for him. Sounds about right - which is also reassuring that Dennis can a) find the player and b) be proven so right so quick. Speaks volumes about the new management's ability to find and suss obscure gems.

Did any of the highlights show the save from the deflected shot that Brezovan hooked out...that was the best of the lot...

Second Penalty could've been hit a bit harder, but else they were reasonable penalties...

Loved the celebration by the Hartlepool players as Brez hooked that save out from under the bar - they all thought they'd done it  :ha:
