Is there a website about where you can type in/look up a certain date of years ago and it will tell you the day?

Eg. 21/8/85 = Friday type thing

Double click the clock in the bottom right of your screen, change the date and away you go.

Just don't save it.

Because I've got an old set of scorebooks which a former player brought round and I'm trying to work out which ones are league games or not. League games are and were played on Saturdays.

Cheers, but mine only goes back to 1980.

I'm looking for the 70s.

If that's accurate (which I assume it is) then it's exactly what I'm looking for.

Cheers mate.

Actually, I don't think it is accurate though.

Unless weekends were Wednesday and Thursday in '76.

Don't forget though that in the halcyon days of the Heath led Tory government of 74, we used to have a three day week.

A short lived experiment that proved unpopular with many.

Both of Sussex's 'worked'. For 76 they said games were played on Weds and Thurs which I don't think is correct, although it may be. For other years it showed me exactly what I was looking for.

Merci.
