Well of course, that's the idea. Be interesting to find out what actually happened, rather than just hear one side's story. Actually, scrap that, I wish they'd all just shut the fuck up. And preferably find some proper owners and fuck off
This x100 Another farcical situation.

I'm finding this hilarious. I know I should take it more seriously but it's a total farce.

For all that we should all be grateful to Andrew Black for putting us back on an even keel, writing off a huge amount of debt etc etc, he's burned a lot of his legacy by wholly failing to understand the "custodian" aspect of owning a football club.

So, in December Power paid Jed (or associated people) a tidy sum of £300,000 for what he thought was the ownership of the football club.
In reality, Seebeck still retained the majority share of the club for 4 months, despite claims that Power's company (Swinton Reds) were the new owners.
Jed & Steve resign from the board and go completely quiet for 4 months until they decide that actually they're really still the owners of the club and decide to have another go at running it.
Either Lee Power was very naive and paid a rather large sum of money for nothing, or Jed's pulled a fast one.

Although we only have Jed's word for this so at this stage I am keeping an open mind, if his grasp of company law is as good as his of licencing, planning and basic literacy we still have hope.

JedCo's case seems to be that they didn't give up ownership in December at all, but just decided to pretend they had for 4 months and then suddenly burst out of the cupboard shouting "Surprise! We're still the owners!". Suspect there's more to it than that, but on the face of it, it doesn't really wash does it?

I'm assuming that might be what the "Following a series of legal actions against the former Chairman" line in the statement refers to.
