Indeed, and we were lucky to get 1 that day (Benjamin was offside).

In other news I-I-Iffy must be on the brink, the Gills have just sacked joint caretaker boss Mick Docherty..

I do feel sorry for Iffy. Bloody nice bloke and a good scout.

Nice men don't make good managers though.

I think all the great managers were Scots though.

Alex Fergerson
Bill Shankley
Kenny Dalglish
Lou Macari
Paul Sturrock

Poor Iffy looked like his world had collasped on Saturday - he just sat in the dug out for ages staring into space!

he said he felt embarressed and let down

Agree with the rest, but Dalglish?

Inherited a good squad at Liverpool, was 'bought' the title at Blackburn. You can't put him in a list containing Ferguson and Shankly.
(I ignored the obvious bias with Luggy and Lou Wink )

Iffy was a pleb.  He hardly instructed his players at all until they were 4-0 down then he just stood by the dug out waving his hands about.

Not tails - he was accompanied by Rich today alongside us - the lad had quite a high voice with a really thick Wiltshire twang to it - 'we are Sturrock's red and white army' never sounded so funny. Cheesy

He was really trying though fair play to him! It just sounded hillarious whenever he sang anything.  Cool

As bad as the Gills were, we deserve some credit, we were awesome.
