The 1st & 2nd come with 1st or 2nd on it, but you can still buy stamps with a monetry value on them as well.

I miss getting letters. Proper ones from people I know, not advertising mail shots.

You could always try sending a letter to someone. They may send one back.

Yep, send most things by email or when I have posted letters they are standard and just required a 1st or 2nd class stamp. The large letter I need to post works out at 93p

Love letters from female admirers were the best. Do kids still do this or is it all texts and online now?

Sexts. Why even bother with words when you can just send a picture of your junk?

The days of sending birds letters etc, meant you had to have an address book. I've still got, a quality little red bound thing, of size somewhere between the old 60's driving licence book, and a passport. Quite good fun looking back through it It appears that the keenest birds, liked to write their details in themselves, probably not trusting me, due to propensity for out of headness. The days of text put an end to it, however, I had a nice collection of birds phone numbers on my ancient Nokia, up until about a month ago, when I needed a new SIM card, the fella at EE, assured me that everything on the old card would go across to the new card, but it didn't The active ones, aren't a problem to get back, but it's the loss of the history which annoys.

Probably...because I know jack shit about the subject, I'll believe just about anything I'm told. I had saved a bunch of the more interesting text, which did get transferred, so that was something to work with.
