Sorry, know what you are trying to say but the only thing that will make me change my mind is for a statement to be released saying that the deal is now complete.

I have been lied to once too often, and if I was them I would issue a statement on Friday afternoon calling for calm as the deal will be completed monday, in an attempt to stave off further protests.

If the march has banners/placards whatever you could change these to suit as necessary following a statement. Be prepared for anything between "Castrate .........(complete as appropriate)" and "Congratulations on a successful takeover"
