Is the 3rd/4th game the most pointless game ever?
No, that would be Swindon Town vs. unknown u21 team. It's pointless but it's still England and I still want to win, especially as the waffle munchers beat us in the group stage.

All very well playing tippy tappy and making nice triangles at the back, but you have to have movement up front and you sometimes have to take a player on or take a gamble. Thought England looked very poor and never really in the game.

Crusades innit? Richard I and all that...one of the many cliches that always gets rolled out with England and their supporters. I hate it. I've not noticed the 'England Band' playing the awful and monotonous theme from the Great Escape this time round - maybe I wasn't paying attention but if I'm right, that's a big plus in my book.

They were poor in the first half, that’s for sure. However I thought they looked ok after the changes as half time & had opportunities to score, albeit Belgium looked really dangerous on the break. England miss a creative midfield player, someone who is really world class

Maybe because there was no 'great escape' the last couple of games.

Yeah that Crusades shit is cringey. The history books will say 2018 England finished 4th which was a tremendous achievement but I don’t think we should get carried away, we still need A LOT of work. We were so far behind Belgium today. (I know it was basically a friendly)

Ironic really as 90% of Templars and Crusaders were French.

I've yet to meet anyone who does, and I think if I do I'll probably keep away from them. They were definitely there anyway, whether or not they were playing TGE.
