Congrats... i passed my second year last week - can't wait for it to be over now (not that I'm relishing trying to get a job in the current climate with a pointless degree from a former Polytechnic...)
Cheers. Well done to you too.

Talking of that DVD is it worth getting or is the production as bad as the last 2 we have had?
It's the first DVD I've had but either way the production isn't great. The sound is all over the place, I was constantly turning it up and down, some of the highlights aren't of great quality and at one point Devera is referred to as James Devera. It's still worth getting though, we won the frigging league!

David Cameron taking time out of stopping the benefits to write me a personal letter
I'd rather he didn't write such letters and stopped more benefits... slack!

Agreed, but there is more chance of a snowman surviving in sahara of that happening though.

And get the councils to collect the £2.3 billion of unpaid council tax - that should help us all.

I never understood how council tax avoidance was so high... When SBC canceled my DD in a fit of incompetence they were right on my case to pay up. Then, when they failed to set it up again the next month, they withdrew my right to pay in installments and demanded £700+ or I was off to court... all of this from their mistake and their inability to take my money.
I fucking hate our council.

Exactly the same happened to me a few years ago. I don't know how, but eventually they let me pay in instalments again. The trouble is there's just no accountability for government incompetence, local or national, and if they're wrong, who cares, they don't, they made the rules and they're judge, jury and executioner. There's no ombudsman, there's no regulatory body (aside from the courts), it's just a cartoon character turning you upside down and shaking the money out of your pockets whether you like it or not. And I also fucking hate our council - with every cell of my body.
