Has anyone actually dislocated a finger... it's not that excruciating once it's out!

Dislocating a shoulder, on the other hand is pain beyond compare...aaahhh, morphine, my dear friend.

I've broken my thumb and can honestly say it is just as painful as breaking your arm.

Although that's a different kettle of fish. It was quite common for lads to dislocate bones at school when playing rugby or football. Went off, got it popped back in and carried on playing.
