Looking forward to today. First a swim, Arsenal v Chelsea and then an afternoon on here to follow the game.

Prediction? Another clean sheet and a win by at least 2 goals. Kerrouche back on the scoresheet.

Down with a bang, hit and run totally against the run of play 1-0 defeat, Bradford come for a draw and sneak a win, 7,323 crowd with 185 from Bradford.

Sunny

This will either be a Barnet or Herefordesque performance. I'll go with the former, so a 4-0 win!

Have to feel confident about today so its 3-0 for me but I thought that against Hereford. Lightening doesn`t strike twice in the same place, does it.

I come in slightly drunk from my friday night out as traditional and plan on starting my lucky matchday thread and find some bastard has already done it?!

Ahh well,

1-0 Town, Tight but our fitness shines through.

Why don't you pre post all the up coming fixture match threads in bulk? I't make more sense if we lose today....

Which we won't. 4-1 town

After the Lord Mayor's Show? 1-0...but I'm not sure which way.

Huh?  Have I missed a glamour cup tie in the week or something?

No reason why we shouldn't win this, though it is Swindon and a win would put us seriously in contention, so I'm not as confident as I should be.  1-1; Connell grabbing a late equaliser.

You've got to love the change in fortunes and attitudes on the forum.  I see someone has even predicted a de Vita goal - not something you would have seen three weeks ago!!   Cheesy

For no particular reason, I decided to look for an omen of my own by taking today's date and going back 10 years at a time to see what our result was on this day...and you actually have to go back all the way to Oct 29th 1921.  Ninety years ago today, we hammered Exeter City 4-1 away.  Harold Fleming got our 4th.  A good omen if ever I saw one.

Wow, bound to win 4-1 then, spooky stuff..... (halloween pun intended)

You're right about that website, absolutely fantastic, I can spend hours and hours on there.... it was my first port of call when I needed to confirm that the 4-1 win was indeed in 1995.
