C'mon Town

Heard a song on a jukebox a couple of days ago, could this be our new anthem:

If only people would sing, instead of stand in mute.

Let's cheer the Town on here, and know how much we love 'em.  Clap

You heard it here first, we'll win, and start embracing a song that doesn't go along the lines of "we dumb when we want, we screw when we went, we are Swindon, we piff-paff when we want".

Lets have a real song Pint

Quite right Mother Brown, I seriously think the above song has the potential to be made ours, something original.

A very limited amount of footy chants from town fans nowadays. Uses to have loads of different ones but most have disapeared into the abyss

Agreed Arriba

To my knowledge this Springsteen song has not been voiced at a club, the lyrics are adaptable as well.

Fantasising about the Townend singing "My Home Town", and later "Across the railroad tracks".

It is made for us, surely? Give it a listen.

I thought this was going to be a thread about where one was born.

I've always thought if we were to adopt a new chant then it would need to be at least something that would appeal to fans of all generations. If you were to mention Bruce Sprinsgtein to a majority of younger Town fans they would think its an Australian memory foam mattress.

I have one to offer -

(To the chorus of Show Me The Way To Amarillo) "We have an owner named Jed McCrory, we want a rich sheikh but that's another story, if that happened I'd have morning glory, but now at least I get my windows cheap"

I really should go to bed
