poor poor and more poor. first 15 mins we looked much the better side, and i was confident that we would win comfortably. I thought before the game today we would thrash them, with the help of the bumper crowd. But no, after the 1st 15 we fell apart and rarely looked like scoring. Cureton and peacock were are only decent players, evans pulled a couple of good saves, o'hanlon did ok, midfield awful!!!!

evans 6 - what was he thinking on that last goal?!!

smith 5- did ok

ifil 6 - not his best but still better than his worst

o'hanlon 5 - prob best defender today, although still not great

nicholas 5- his throw is his entire game

shakes 5- world cup?! what, as a ball boy?

brown 4- not good enough poor control

gurney 4- cannot wait to have p.smith back in there

migz 5- not much of his good distribution. we need a battler in the middle !

cureton 7- some good moves, would score many more if given better service

peacock 7- gets himself round loads, prob best player. marginally better than cureton

SUBS

roberts 4- slow, lazy, ineffective

jarret 5-  didnt even notice he'd come on for a while but some decent moves looks completley disinterested

pook 5- no better than gurney again, disinterested.

the future.....

forest away gonna be v tough can't see us getting anything at their place

tranmere - we always seem to struggle against them

its gonna be tight......

The warning signs were there against Doncaster when Gurney came on for Comyn-Platt. The midfield is what makes our team relegation favourites to being safe. With Gurney and Miglioranzi in the middle I feel we will get relegated. However, luckily we have Paul Smith and Comyn-Platt who should be back soon, who seem to give us a midfield that can fight and create chances.

i agree dogs, CP and P.Smith if they can stay fit will keep us up ! gurney was awful today completely ineffective, we'd be better off playing with 10 men than 10+gurney! migz isnt a battler either but good control and distribution, although not today!

Indeed. One hope I have is that Iffy seemed to realise this and took the shite off. Still we didn't have much better options with Pook and Jarrett. Pook isn't up to the standard and I feel we may need another battling midfielder as backup.

dont forget the rest of the midfield. Shakes espically did nothing, Brown did next to nothing....

the midfield was piss poor unfortunately.

and pook why did he bother turning up? he's a youngster so i'll let that one go.

but even at 2-1 we didnt look great.

onwards on upwards though.

Very true, but Brown was constantly drawn to cover for the central midfield. He still played shite mind. Shakes though did nothing and deserved to be subbed.
