STFC is one of his business interests. Does the club need propping up by it's wealthy owners, or is this a wild and unwarranted assumption?

Shame that he's thinking about stopping betting.

Think it's more likely to be one of his other investments - as I understand it he has quite a wide portfolio and I'd guess many of them are likely to be struggling in the current climate. Rumour has it Betfair are in trouble, though to what extent I don't know
